1) Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using the Site (including booking an appointment or submitting an inquiry), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
2) About Our Services
We provide tax and accounting services to individuals and small businesses, which may include tax preparation and filing, bookkeeping, payroll support, and advisory services (collectively, the “Services”). Information on the Site is for general information only and may not reflect the most recent developments.
No engagement is formed by visiting the Site. A professional-client relationship is created only when we confirm the scope of work in writing (e.g., an engagement letter or signed proposal).
3) Booking Appointments
- Scheduling: You may book appointments through the Site or via direct contact.
- Rescheduling/Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a fee.
- Confirmation: Appointments are confirmed upon our written confirmation (e.g., email, booking tool notification). We reserve the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances.
4) Estimates, Fees & Payment
- Estimates: Any quotes or estimates are provided for planning purposes and may change based on scope and information received.
- Engagement terms: Fees, billing frequency, payment methods, interest on late payments, deposits/retainers, and deliverable timelines are set out in your engagement letter or service agreement and prevail over these Terms in case of conflict.
- Taxes: Fees may be subject to applicable taxes.
5) Your Responsibilities
- Accuracy & completeness: You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information and documents to enable us to perform the Services.
- Deadlines: You are responsible for meeting filing and payment deadlines unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Review: You must carefully review any returns or filings prepared for you and inform us promptly of any discrepancies.
6) Intellectual Property & Site Content
All content on the Site (text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and layout) is owned by LT or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
7) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes;
- Attempt to interfere with or compromise Site security, or access accounts or data not intended for you;
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site without permission;
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
8) Third-Party Links & Tools
The Site may contain links or integrations to third-party websites or services (e.g., booking, email marketing, payments, analytics). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.
9) No Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LT, its owners, and staff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits/revenues arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site. Our aggregate liability in connection with the Site shall not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).
Note: Liability for professional services is governed by your signed engagement terms.
11) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LT and its personnel from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Site, or violation of any law or third-party right.

13) Changes to the Site & Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada, for any disputes arising out of these Terms or the Site.
